Meeting An Apostle

Curtis was able to shake hands, talk and meet with Elder Russell M. Nelson of the Quorum Of The 12 Apostles.
"It was so awesome, he told me good luck and stuff, and I think it was the best part of the mission so far."

Elder Nelson gave the following blessing to the CTM missionaries:
“I invoke a blessing upon you that you will feast upon the doctrine of the Lord. That you will be sweet, loving and kind and that you will have health and strength. I bless you to love your companions, and that you will be obedient to your mission president. We are engaged in the work of the Lord. We are sent to gather Israel.”

Elder Russell M. Nelson has served as a member of the Council of the Twelve Apostles since April 1984. Elder Nelson's Church callings have included stake president, general president of the Sunday School, and regional representative.
